Friday Photos: Academic All-Conference STUDENT-Athletes
Don't Just Stop With the 4.0 Club, Highlight the All-Conference Awardees
As a reminder, Friday Photos is additional player development content to dive into the player development programming and initiatives over my career in the role. This content is broken into WHY the programming and initiative happened, HOW we were able to do it, and the OUTCOME from the programming or initiative.
Academic All-Conference
Why?
Just as the conference highlights those who did great on the field of play, they reward those who EARNED it in the classroom as well.
This is a great way to congratulate and bring exposures to the awarded STUDENT-athletes in your program.
This can be an effective recruiting tool as well displaying to prospective student-athletes and parents the program’s and conference’s commitment to academic excellence.
How?
The sports information director (SID) and creative team will get the information and create a sick graphics like the ones you see here created by Ashley McCaffrey.
You grab the graphic and post it on your social with a message to congratulate the STUDENT-athletes.
Outcome?
Positive STUDENT-athlete, athletic program, and academic department exposure.
Recognition to the STUDENT-athlete for their efforts and increased recognition to the academic services who have provided immense value to the STUDENT-athlete.
The student-athlete is provided engagement geared towards the accomplishment they earned.
