📈 From NAIA to Power 4: Michael Miller to Speak at the 2025 Player Development Summit
This one’s special—because it’s a full-circle moment.
We’re excited to welcome Michael Miller as a panelist at the 2025 Player Development Summit! Mike will be part of the powerful session “Leading When You’re Not the Director,” and trust me—his story makes him the perfect voice for this conversation.
I met Mike about three years ago. A former NFL player, he was then working at an NAIA school, hungry to learn and build. He showed up to the very first Player Development Summit and soaked in everything he could. By the time the second summit rolled around, he was speaking.
Now? He’s serving as an Assistant Director of Player Development at Baylor University, making a real impact at the Power 4 level.
A Trailblazer and Builder
Mike was one of the first people I’ve seen build a player development program at the NAIA level—a true ground-up initiative that’s rare at that level of college athletics. His ability to turn vision into reality is one of the reasons he’s continued to grow in this space.
At Baylor, he’s still doing what he’s always done: serving athletes with purpose, integrity, and excellence.
Why This Panel Matters
“Leading When You’re Not the Director” is all about recognizing the value, voice, and leadership that exists at every level of a development team. Mike knows that story firsthand—he’s lived it and continues to lead from wherever he’s placed.
“From building programs at small schools to impacting Power 4 athletes, Mike Miller is proof that title doesn’t define your leadership—your work does.”
