The Business of Football
Here's How The NFLPA Can Help Your College Football or Your Favorite College Football Program
The Business of Football.
While speaking with the Nebraska Football Team, I sat an listened to Willis Whalen give an incredible presentation on the business side of football.
Willis works for the National Football League Players Association or better known as the NFLPA.
I met Willis while I was working at Kansas, and he was going around the country helping programs by providing resources for players about the path to the NFL. The programming was going to happen, but COVID came, and things changed.
The thing I loved about the programming from the NFLPA was as an organization that represents players, I knew the presentation would be on that would resonate with the truths about the process for our players, while also exposing the unknowns of a journey they ALL wanted.
After talking to Willis about the program, I found out it was completely FREE. Yes, the NFLPA pays for all expenses to help athletes who will be represented by them in the near future.
The programming is still going on and still is FREE. I learned so much from the presentation Willis gave, and I recommend all college football programs add this to their programming.
In today’s brief podcast episode, you will hear more about the programming and how to connect with Willis.
